Compared to what?
So, in my film class I have of course been getting perfect scores on my papers. Rightly so, considering they’re brilliantly written with insight likely rivalling that of the creators of the films themselves. I speak like this because this entire post is going to be about my wounded ego.
Today, we picked up the latest of our graded papers and seeing that my friend also got 10/10 on her papers I asked if I could read through them. Taking it from her I immediately find around four grammatical errors. In the first paragraph. The spelling was off, grammar was horrendous and even some proper punctuation was missing! As for the paper itself, the ideas were flimsy and likely only correct in their analysis because I had earlier told her exactly what we were supposed to write about.
Now don’t get me wrong, this girl is my friend and co-worker but she’s a dolt. Straight through. So when these shameful papers manage to get the same score as me -albeit the highest score- I feel distinctly offended. I would have given it a 6… if I were feeling generous. IT’S A COLLEGE COURSE FOR FUCKS SAKE.
Stop coddling the idiots, America. They deserve what they get and if you give them college degrees out of pure pity you’re going to end up with those same idiots at the top of our work force; and we all know how that turns out. Bush.

So, it’s officially the end of Feb. 10, the epic day of the first ever showing of Anonymous in a physical form, spurred to these new heights by the pure idiocy of Scientology.
This, I think, is why Anon really hates Scientology. Not because they have shady business practices or because Tom Cruise is a crazy fuck. I think they despise Scientology because the entire “religion” is so blatantly retarded that it quite effectively shocks and enrages Anon that it’s actually succeeding in a modern world. Where all around us society is progressing, Scientology stands out as the single greatest failure in human intelligence since the crusades!
To anonymous, Scientology represents the most regressed organization with power in our world. To progress, we must get rid of it. Chop off the dead limbs.

Out of curiosity, how much money did you spend on previously mentioned “treatments”, books, tapes and so forth? Additionally, what method did you go about “leaving” Scientology? Did you tell them or simply fade from view?

I’d like to point out to you that many legitimate doctors have called nearly every medical practice performed by Scientology “utter quackery” and potentially dangerous/lethal.
For example; the “purification rundown” that you yourself went through that is basically a long sauna. Given heart, lung or liver conditions, entering a sauna for an extended period of time is extremely dangerous. The problem is that the Scientologists don’t make those distinctions. They put everyone in anyway and if something bad happens, they blame the individual, because of course L. Ron Hubbard couldn’t possibly ever be wrong.

Now, I’d like to bring up the main part of Anonymous’ slogan toward Scientology, “Knowledge is Free”. This is the single major difference between a religion and a cult. One is in it for what they truly believe to be the benefit of the people following them and the other is in it for personal gain. Everything Scientology does(even it’s humanitarian projects/rehabilitation centers/charity foundations) is done to draw more poor saps into the trap. They do humanitarian projects so that uneducated people see that single instance and assume it’s a good organization. They create rehabilitation centers for drug addicts because they’ve realized that people in that state are extremely impressionable and so easily manipulated. As for charity foundations, they did a scholastic endeavour where they gave Scientology “doctrine” books to thousands of elementary schools so that they could potentially “snag them while they’re young”.

On another subject, Scientology hardly needs you to defend them. According to the Time magazine article back in 1991, Scientology pays it’s legal team over 100 million dollars a year. They sue with abandon, whether frivolous or not(in that same article it mentions that at the time Scientology had no less than 75 law suits AGAINST the IRS, done to bog them down in paperwork to hinder investigations into the cult). When somebody dares stand against them, Scientology digs up background info or criminal records. If that fails, they simply create lies. They then produce posters and fliers about said person and tape them up around the town they live in so as to discredit their name entirely. The wonderful thing about Anonymous… is that Scientology cannot attack anyone unless they have somebody to attack. It’s the only way to fight them because any other methods used against them instantly send them running to the “freedom of religion” card.

Lastly, I would like to clarify that Anonymous has no grief against the members of Scientology. They are brainwashed, sad, sad people who should be pitied more than anything. It’s the organization and the higher-ups that Anonymous is focused on because they are the ones exploiting thousands of people for their own personal benefit.
However always keep in mind that Anonymous consists of everyone. It is the physical form of any given person on the internet with an agenda. Meaning that it also has it’s fair share of teenage bastards who grief people for the sheer enjoyment of it. Personally, I would save your video’s, delete your account and your myspace and reopen them in a month or 2 when the mass has forgotten about it. The highest tier of Anonymous is a group of extremely skilled hackers called g00ns. As an example, a group of supposed Scientologists recently took down 711chan(a site that was acting as a base for Anonymous coordination) with a denial of service attack. Half a day later, g00ns posted the full name, address, phone number and social security number of every person involved in the attack. I think it might be better if you sat this one out.

hey korioni. thanks for the letter. you seem really nice too, i accidentally deleted it and i am SO BUMMED OUT! there have been a lot of negative comments that overshadow the fact that i am genuinely interested in speaking to both sides. i find it interesting you know? at any rate, it was just a quick opinion i posted because i saw something that i didn’t understand at all – an attack on the church of scientology. it just seems wrong to me – but that’s my opinion. i am not trying to make less of who you are and what you do, it just confuses me. it makes me think of a lot of things we witnessed in history class through badly written books. i don’t like to witness any kind of war, real or figurative, and that is why i said something because i feel like scientology needs to be defended. all the scientologists are too smart to do what i did i guess.
some kids looked me up online as i assumed they would and found out i took some scientology courses around 4 years ago which is true. that doesn’t change my stance. i was curious, i looked into it, and i do not plan on being a scientologist. to be quite frank with you though, i did think of myself as a scientologist for about two years until i came to understand it better. there are just some fundamental differences between me and some unchanging scientology priciples and so i am done with that chapter of my life and have been for a long time.
thank you for your interest in actually helping me to understand both sides. at this point i would have probably backed down and waved the proverbial white flag but all those comments have me definately not wanting to delete the video. because i don’t even know what that is but it is there. i have angered the anonymous army and it is quite the beast indeed. it was not my intention to be so haughty. i just start thinking what is behind all this, you know? there is always something behind the obvious. why is my video so threateneing? why is there really a war on scientology? i find myself unable to go to any sights because i am too angry at this whole outburst. i will not be able to read it without being reminded of all this anger that has come my way. but i am totally down with one on one conversations like this, i feel like you learn more that way sometimes.
just fyi i have actually been getting a ton of letters and i’m using a generic letter right now to keep up with everyone and i am still falling short. if you could pass this on to some influential people within your group and get them to back off i would really appreciate it. i mean i know that is wierd to ask that, but ALL of this happened overnight and i will not be online until tomorrow so i have no idea what to expect tomorrow when i do log on. therefore if there is any way to call off the dogs i am all for it. i could really care less about what people say to me but my friends are also getting threatening comments (none of which are scientologists btw. NOT ONE) and that is really really wierd and needs to stop. maybe you could make this a bulletin from anonymous?
